Weight Management Service
Sea and Sun Health offers an evidenced based, structured, intensive weight management service to help primary care members and non-members reach their weight and body composition goals. Weight management fees cover all doctor visits, 3-D body composition scanning and measurements, EKG procedure and interpretation, and lab orders and interpretation. Initial Phase- First 12 weeks (3 months)
Initial Visit: 60 minute visit.
Detailed medical history
Nutrition, hydration, exercise/activity, sleep, and stress evaluation
Thorough physical examination
3-D body composition scan and body measurements
EKG procedure and interpretation, lab orders with review of lab results with doctor when received
Education on physiology of weight management
Discussion of prescription medication for assistance with weight loss if medically appropriately
Establishment of individualized plan based on personal goals
Follow Up Visits: 30 minute visits. Every 2 weeks.
Updates of medical history
Review of nutrition, hydration, exercise/activity, sleep and stress SMART goal status
Serial physical examinations
Serial 3-D body composition scan and body measurements
Education on safe nutrition adjustment
Education and instruction on safe exercise and activity adjustment.
Monitoring of prescription medication effects as medically appropriate
Adjustment of individualized plan based on results and personal goals
Maintenance Phase-Week 12 and beyond
Follow Up Visits: 30 minute visits. Every 4 weeks.
Updates of medical history
Review of nutrition, hydration, exercise/activity, sleep and stress SMART goal status
Serial physical examinations
Serial 3-D body composition scan and body measurements
Education on safe nutrition adjustment
Education and instruction on safe exercise and activity adjustment.
